Curry Fish

Kenny’s father loves fishing and goes almost every day after his jobs in health care industry, which wasn’t as busy as his last job. As a result, there are plenty of fishes in his house! His mum cooks them almost everyday and sometimes 2 fish dishes in a single meal!

Thus, he brought us 2 fishes for us. Initially we plan to bring the fish to the restaurant and have them cook for us. But after some thought, Doreen decided to make curry fish!

She called her mum for recipe and bought the ingredients this morning. I am looking forward her curry fish head for dinner tonight and hope it will taste good for her first attempt!

Baby Booms!

This year, I receive not one or two but three baby announcements from my friends! It is quite a surprise as I didn’t know that they were pregnant and all of a sudden, there are many little babies in their families.

And so the life of sleepless nights and dark circles begin; not to mention the heavy responsible as parents and guardians to the small life.

Well, congratulations to them and may the babies bring joy and happiness to the families.

Please Leave The Light On

When I came home at night yesterday, I was surprised to see the whole house was so dark. I knew that my roommates had gone out for shopping after work but as usual, they didn’t switch on any light before they left.

I have told them numerous times to keep the living room lights on so that it would be brighter and gave the impression that someone is at home. I think I should get some outdoor lighting as well.

Please be reminded to switch on the light the next time you are going out at night.

A relaxing weekend

I am back from my hometown.. rather relaxing one.. as I slept till 11.45am on Saturday, without waking up earlier! Whoa, it is nearly 11 hours of sleep.

Perhaps I am really tired, too much of facing computers at office and home.. so I have my monthly rejuvenating at home. J

Nothing much happened, just nap a lot, went to Tesco with my parents. Bought mooncakes for them. Saw my old friend for a while when she collected her mooncake. J

Washing my Headset

Yesterday in the office, I was reaching for my headset to listen to a nice song. And guess what I saw! One side of the headset was soaking in the tea in a mug! Man! I must have accidentally dropped it.

So I took it out and wiped it clean. Then I dipped into a clear water to further washing it. After that I dry it with a tissue paper and shook the water out of it.

I tried to use it and surprisingly there was still sound coming out of it! Just a little softer, perhaps it wasn’t fully dried yet.

It is a Panasonic headset from my old, blue walkman which my lovely aunt bought from me when I was still in the university. I think that was nearly 7 to 8 years ago! The headset is still working fine. Good quality, huh!

Perfect Sunday~

Last Sunday has been a perfect day for me. I slept till past noon! Something that I’ve not done for a long time.. And before I got out of my bed, it started to rain.. and it rained on and off for the whole day. Simply a marvelous day and the weather was so cooling and perfect~

Cooked simple brunch and dinner, made myself a big mug of carrot juice~ I even took a nap after lunch. Went out a night to remind myself how to drive and had French fries for supper~

A perfect, relaxing and cooling day~

How I wish it rains every Sunday (or Saturday will even do)..

I want to Rest

All I want to do now is to crawl to my bed to have a good rest on the bed wedges . I am feeling extremely tired from work today, having a high work load today. I didn’t even go out for lunch but my colleague bought a sandwich for me. But I have to pack for tomorrow activities and do some stuff before I can rest. There is so much to things to do this weekend as well. I doubt I have time for proper rest. :(

I Am Tired

Lately I realized that there isn’t much of personal time for myself. I guess I have been stretching myself too far at work and have been putting on extra hours. Sometimes after work, I catch up with my friends and have dinner with them after work.

For example, I come home around 10.45pm and I have to shower and get some chores done before hitting the bed. There isn’t much time for myself for quality personal time. I don’t even have time to look at the new mortgage life insurance that my friend proposed.

Looks like I need better time management or else I’ll get too tired and grouchy!

Days of The Cycle

As many woman would have known, during certain phases in our menstrual cycle, we are prone to have more acnes on our faces! I guess it is due to the imbalance hormones. Much as I hate it, there isn’t much that we can do. Even eating right and having enough sleep doesn’t seem to help during this period. The only way to deal with it is using the effective acne treatment.

And of course, try not to arrange important dates on these days. :D
