I want to take 4 days leave on my very last days of work but my manager didn’t approve of it! Yet. Ok, he said he’ll think about it but his face doesn’t look too good today when I asked him. He asked me to put in the request and I told him I did. I am hoping to start earlier at my new company. My record has been clean and good all this while. I hope he would approve it, soon!
And they are right to say that Sagittarius is impatient! What’s more with plan in my mind now!
A few more days.
A new year to begin.
As of the past 10 years or so, I felt that time is passing a little too quickly. Maybe we have fallen into a routine life. Time indeed wait for no man. Time will also heals everything.
But then time does not fix your broken faucet. Or makes you wiser.
All it takes is a little effort and more experience.
Yeah, so goodbye 2009.
It was good while it lasts.
May we have a better 2010!
All have been planned.
I am so eager to countdown to a new year with my friends in a country down south.
But oops, something cropped up with the arranged, free accommodation! It is bad timing after all and I felt bad to invade to my friend’s house who isn’t ready for guests at that time.
I am thinking perhaps we should get a Outer Banks rental for the few days stay. It would be more convenient but of course, we have to fork out for some accommodation as well.
Sigh.. a little unforeseen inconvenience before the new year starts.
My brother kept asking when I was going to move in to the new house. I am not quite sure myself as budget is one problem coz I would want to renovate it before moving in.
Although I am only thinking of minor renovations like putting in the basic kitchen cabinet and plastic ceiling, nothing fancy like stainless steel tile; it is still beyond my current budget.
There is also electrical stuffs and furniture to think about, which doesn’t come cheap. And yeah, before I am able to come out with the budget, I’ll just stay put and save more money?
Approaching 30s, we are not discussing about fashion or boys like we used to. Now we discuss about politics, how to make extra money, starting a family and properties! Gosh, we do sound old! Or older.
Many of my friends are getting their own properties, some is thinking that landed properties are better investment than apartments. But of course, it is a much bigger investments and commitments. The other are thinking of getting their own Philadelphia apartments.
I felt that once you get your own properties, you are committed for the next 30 years or so. What a long, long time.
But isn’t getting older means getting more commitments?
There is a new foodcourt in near my house that was just opened last Saturday. My father suggested us to go for dinner and so we did! It was rather crowded for the first day as it was rather full. My father was happy with its ample parking and we could find one easily. There were so many stalls and the difficult part was to get an empty table. We finally found one outside which was rather good location as it wasn’t as stuffy as inside!
I even saw my colleague there with her new husband and family! My parents both had porridge while I feasted on chicken satay which was delicious, except some part which was burnt! All of us were happy with the food, location and variety of choices and would certainly be back for next time!!
I remembered reading a very good novel on hypnosis a couple of years ago. I have read the book again and again while wondering if hypnosis is for real and if it really works.
Curiosity gets the better of me and I started to google about hypnosis on the net. Actually hypnosis could work wonders in many different areas of our life. There are not just what you see in the movie where a person lose controls when he is under hypnosis and do silly things or blurted out his darkest secret.
Hypnosis could be used in self improvement to enhance self confidence, be a happier person and even boosting creativity as well as overcoming phobias and fear!
I have two dogs at home and one is really getting so old! I remembered we got it when I was in Form 1 which is like 14 years ago! If a dog year is equivalents to 7 man years, my dog is already 98 years old, nearly a century!
One of the eyes is getting blurry and it is rather thin now. It is not as lively as it used to be. But still, my dog never fails to wag his tails happily whenever she sees me back!
I sure hope my doggie has many years to go! 
This morning before I came back to the city, I had breakfast with my parents at one of the dim sum shop. Again I was disappointed with the quality of dim sum in my hometown compared to here although the price was much cheaper.
But my parents actually fancied their furniture! It was a marble tops and quality antique chairs and I bet they cost quite a bit.
They are talking about getting it for our family room and replace the current table that look like office furniture. We have that table since the day we moved in which was more than 16 years already!
Yeah, time for a new one!
Another long weekend, how nice if it is December every months. Where holidays are lurking every week, long weekend. How wonderful.
Or a break within the week days.
But then December is always a bitter sweet month.
The last month before the year really ends for good. Or not.
Time when you wrap up the life for this year and plan for the next year.
And so yeah, a lot of stuffs waiting for next year.
A new office, hopefully with modern office furniture.
A new house?
Or a new life?
