Lunche

Today we went out for our favourite min sin again. A colleague, AT joined us for the first time. It was a hot and crowded place and we waited for quite sometime before finally got a table. Five of us ordered five different variety of porks which I think was rather confusing to them! But somehow they finally arrived at the correct order and the portion was still a little too big. But it was yummy. Though we reached office at 1.30pm, a little too late as well! :P

I don’t know how many more times I can come here for lunch before I change my job.

Going to miss this place and eating with them! :(

1-1

Finally after nearly all my colleagues had the one-to-one session with manager for the job house implementation, my manager summoned for me. It was a fast one, around 18 minutes only, very fast compared to the others that take up to an hour or more. I supposed that is because I didn’t have many questions or maybe he was already very good in explaining the whole thing (after all he repeated the same thing so many times). After that he gave me a letter to scan it and email it to him.

I hate to do scanning, so I get my neighbour colleague to do it for me. And he agreed to do me that favour, means he is not that bad after all la. :D

No Internet

Geez.. the internet was down for the whole day on Sunday! We tried and tried from morning to afternoon to late evening and even at night! But the modem light was not blinking for the internet LED.

When it blinked, we also couldn’t get a connection. It is driving all of us crazy, as a big part of our life (apart from work) is now in the virtual world. When Kay came home and found out the internet was down, he was quite lost and asked me “How?”. I told him that we can now sleep early! And yeah, Sam was in bed by 10pm already.

Perhaps it was good thing that the internet was down? We have more time for other stuffs, like watching tv while having cigars? Or go out for a drinks with friends!

There’s more to life than internet, isn’t it?

Self Defense!

As we walked to Wisma Central for lunch under the hot sun, a girl gave a flyer. It says classes for dancing, martial arts, self defence, close combat training classes and etc.

I am already joining a  dancing class after work at office. But I am thinking of protecting myself with self defense classes. The society I am living today is really unsafe, especially after the near-robbery that happened to my friends. I could do with some self protection skill.

I think it’s worth investing on the skill!

Fuzzyyy

I couldn’t stand my fluffy and frizzy hair. I hate to put an large amount of serum on my hair daily to tame them down. But if I don’t smooth my hair every now and then, it’ll be messy especially after washing it! I like neat hair.

So I did my rebonding again for the 4th time in my life! Yeah, now my hair I so flat n straight it looks like I don’t have much hair (says my colleague). It is rather okay price at RM225 (after 50% discount and include a cut).

I hope it wouldn’t be so flat and straight after I wash it tonight. :D

A new Car?

I am hoping to get my own car end of this year. It has been over 4 years since I got my license and yet I did not really have the chance to learn driving.

I guess it is time for me to pick up or I will never have the courage to master driving! My biggest headache is getting my dream car or a more practical local car which might be cheaper to maintain in the future.

I’ve even been browsing for auto insurance quotes to get the best deals. Will I get extra discount if I buy the car at year end?

Cards..!

My purse is getting bulkier compared to when I just bought it. I bought a small purse as I didn’t want to carry around a bulky and big purse. But as days go by, I couldn’t help but to keep all those cards in my purse!

There are train system card, credit cards, ATM cards, medical card, motorhome insurance card and various shopping malls members card as well as rewards cards! On top of that, I also have to put my identity card and license!

Either I need a separate purse for cards or I simply need a larger purse!

Emails

It only takes about 3 days for my company email account to be flooded with emails! Some of them are work related and the others are either mass notification system emails or spam and junk emails.

I think we need a larger mail server or else I am keep losing those emails! Or maybe it is good to receive those unrelated notification emails which floods our email every single day.

And of course, it is important to keep a separate personal email account as well!

Printers!

I received a sms from my brother the other day. He said he need to get a printer urgently and he wanted me to recommend him a printer that could print at a cheap cost as he would need to print his assignments frequently.

I used to have a Canon Bublejet printer when I was in university and I passed it to him when I graduated. It must have spoilt by now but nonetheless it was a good printer. The ink was only around RM50 for a black new one and around RM100 for the color one. The refillable ink was only around RM20 or so. One ink could last me about a semester or longer, which is quite a good deal!

5 years down the graduation road, I haven’t bought any printer for ages and I couldn’t recommend him an efficient printer. However I asked him to take the price of the catridge as an important factor when considering a printer model.  Well, hope he make the right decision in buying a printer to last him for another year before he graduate! :)

Risk

I am still mustering the courage to tell my manager that I intend to move on after all. Although the suggestion he gave to me to further my career seems a little logical and attractive, but I felt that I couldn’t go on provide a good and productive service here.

I must take the risk and challenge to move on as I am still quite young! It is an opportunity for me to take and I don’t want to see it slip away. If it is meant to be bad, I would take it gracefully and move on. I hope its not! :D

So good luck to me, hope I am not influenced by others again on my decision!
