After 6 months of dyeing my hair to brown, it is now teaming with black roots that doesn’t look very flattering! And to top that, my hair is getting drier than usual. Even my usual hair conditioner doesn’t seem to help much. I went to trim them today and even my hairstylist commented on the dry ends.
Gosh! I should start taking better care of them, no more hair chemicals for the next 6 months. Maybe I should try the hair vitamins that he recommended..
Or maybe some expensive professional hair treatments? Yikes.. it’s all about $$$!

My mother asked me to take cod liver oil when I went back the last time (note that it is not the first time she asked me to take it regularly but I never did!) I finally bought it at Guardin today at RM10.48 for 400ml. Next I try to research on google on why the cod liver oil is good for me :
-provide you with valuable omega-3 oils
-provides your body with its needed supply of vitamin D when you cannot get it from the sun.
- beneficial in such conditions as rheumatism, but also as a benefit to the heart and circulatory system.
-Blood flow – may be aided by EPA and DHA, discouraging blood platelets from sticking together.
-Blood pressure – EPA and DHA may help reduce this.
-Coronary Heart Disease – risk may be reduced if regular intakes are given. Research has shown that it reduces the likelihood of blood clotting, makes the heart less prone to arrhythmias (irregular heart beats). It alters the balance of blood fats in a favourable way and reduces the viscosity of blood, thereby faciliting blood flow.
-Bones and Teeth – require vitamin D to maintain their strength.
-Vision – Vitamin A is essential for the formation of visual purple (for night vision).
-Healthy Skin and Mucous Membranes – CLO is rich in Vitamin A, the large amount present is beneficial for skin and mucous membranes.
-Pregnancy – Omega 3 fatty acids are important for the brain development of the foetus.
-Arthritis – Improvements in the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis have been reported in patients taking fish oil supplements.
A lot of reason why I should take it, right? My wise mother~ ^.^

I remembered getting my first hand phones rather late than most of my peers. When I started to work in KL, my mum was very worried as I wasn’t familiar with the place with not many friends and relatives there. Thus, she got me my very first 3310 mobile phone, which was a cool phone back then!
But I lost it as my bag was snatched by a motorcyclist within a year! I was very upset and bought myself a new Motorola T191 phone next. After using for 2 years, the battery became very unstable and thus I got myself my current 3210 phone! It is still working fine after 4 years.
But now, I have upgraded to a wonderful phone, Sony Ericson that I hope could serve me at least for the next 3 years!

I think I am sitting too much in front of my computer. I do that all day long in the office and half of the time during the weekend too!
When I woke up this morning, I am developing a sort of lower back ache, which has never happened before!
I should stop facing the computer for such long hours. Perhaps take a little break in between like water the plant, clean the dirty faucets or take the dog for a walk.
And so yeah, I’ll be back!

Next year is the year of Tiger according to Chinese calendar. Thus it is believe not a great year to get married as it would bring strained relationship for the newly wed couple.
Â
Which probably explains why many of my friends are getting married this year! I am getting one too many wedding dinner invitations!
If you have been to Chinese wedding dinner, you should know that the gift money is not quite a small sum but of course, you would normally be served 8 or 9 course meals! Which means extra calories and probably the need of weight loss pills as well!
Anyway, there is a wedding dinner to attend tonight and I am ready for some big fest!

I am excited of the prospect of getting a new camera! Of course with the condition that if I am able to sell of my camera of about 2 years, or less than that.
My friend is considering to buy it at 40% of the original price and I would have to top up about 60% of it to get a newer model! Would he take it?
There are so many latest models with new features that I am excited about. All I need is a new camera and perhaps some Stimerex ES as well.

Awaiting for his response now, let it be positive! J

Jane called me for lunch a couple days ago. I haven’t seen her for years and boy, she looks great with her new body. She has lost so much weight that I couldn’t recognise her when she walked in.
Her secret was a lot of exercise and cutting on high calories food. Not binging or taking pills for weight loss as many suspected.
Well, if there is a will there is a way. Or maybe some might need a better motivation. Like getting married, which is her greatest motivation!

With the year end approaching, I felt that there are so many things to be done and so many bills to pay! I have to renew my driver license, road tax, pay for my annual life insurance fee, do medical check up and the list goes on.
Not to mention, shopping and getting ready for the festivals. And travels. Gosh, why does year end always so hectic. Isn’t it a slowing down time for the year? Or at least not to me!

If you go any shopping mall, you could see that sale is everywhere, at nearly every single shop. I pass by Tangs when I go to work everyday and I am so tempted to go in to shop, now that they are having up to 70% off for some of their products.
They have these fabulous Eagle Creek luggage bags displayed at the entrance. I have been wanting to get a bigger luggage bag but what stops me is if I really need them. Do I travel intensive enough to get a bigger one as my current luggage bag is in a pretty good condition!

Such tough decision.. Between want and need..

While reading is a great pastime, I think it wouldn’t be too good to mother earth if we keep buying new book or magazines. Well, that is from my own experience as I love buying book, when it is affordable and at promotion prices.
With that over the years, I have accumulated so many books that it would be such a shame to throw them away and I couldn’t bear to give them as well. All my book shelves are full and even my tv stands are full of books.
I guess I should start renting or borrow from my friend or else I could really open a mini library at my home. It would be kinder to the earth too, isn’t it? Less tree being cut down for books. =)
